Hans R. Lincoln

Hans Rainer Lincoln, 68, of Whitman died Dec. 27, 2013, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in West Roxbury. He was born in Wiesbaden, Germany, son of the late Bruno Clements and Hanni M. Weiss. Rainer had been employed as a self employed construction mechanic for most of his life. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a member of the U.S.V. Post #2 in Abington. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and was described by his family as a master of all trades who knew how to fix everything. He is survived by a son, Kurt R. Lincoln of the Marshfield Fire Dept. and his wife Linda (Sarofen) Lincoln of Marshfield and his siblings, Susan Lincoln and Stephen Lincoln of Duxbury, MaryJane Schneider of FL., Ralph Lincoln of Rockland and Michael and Mark Lincoln both of Hanson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. The Lincoln family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate his life Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. in the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland.
