Lewis P. Mariano

Lewis P. Louie Mariano, age 82, of Quincy died Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Boston Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Bolea) Mariano for 57 years. Born in Dedham in 1930, Louie was the son of the late Sabatino and Giovina (Sablone) Mariano. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was retired and had worked as a Laborer for Local 133 in Quincy. Louie was also a member of the VFW Post 2017 in Dedham and the Quincy YMCA Early Birds. Louie was the father of Paul and his wife Mary of Dedham, David Mariano and his wife Sandy of Quincy and Joanne Mariano of Quincy. He was the cherished grandfather of Mark, Stephanie, Kathryn, Matthew, Christopher and Kimberly. He is also survived by a sister, Joan Mariano, of Quincy. Predeceased by 6 siblings; and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy, Saturday, Nov. 16, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church, 95 Crescent Street, in Quincy, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held Friday from 3-8 p.m. Interment in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery. Donations may be made in Louie's memory to St. Judes Children Research Hospital, P.O.
