Stephanie S. Tully

Stephanie S. (Kisiel) Tully, 93 years of age, entered life eternal at the Atrium at Faxon Woods, Quincy, Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012. She was born in South Boston and graduated from South Boston High School with the Class of 1938. She subsequently graduated from Northeastern University, Boston. She was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, having served as a sergeant during World War II. She resided in Braintree for 50 years before moving to Quincy to the Riverbay Club 12 years ago. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert E. Tully. She is survived by three devoted children, Robert Steven Tully married to Katherine Tully of Montclair, Va., Lisa Dibble married to Theodore Dibble of Kansas City, Mo., and James Tully married to Joanne Tully of Whitman. She was the loving grandmother of Caitlin (Tully) Thompson of Virginia, John P. Tully of New Hampshire, Robert C. Tully, Ryan H. Tully and Alyson M. Tully, all of Whitman, and Ruby M. Dibble of Missouri; great-grandmother of Arthur Rivers Thompson and Colin Leonard Tully. Visiting hours will be at the Mortimer N. Peck-Russell Peck Funeral Home, 516 Washington St., Braintree, Friday, Nov. 9, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., to be followed by a funeral Mass in the Church of Saint Thomas More, Hawthorn Road and Elm Street, Braintree, at 11 a.m. The Rev. James McCarthy, pastor of the church, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
