Alan J. Seaver Sr.

Alan Joseph Seaver Sr., age 81, died on Oct. 5, 2012 at the Golden Living Center in Plymouth. He was the beloved husband of Louise A. (Tassinari) Seaver. Born in Plymouth, MA on August 22, 1931, he was a son of the late John and Marion Louise (Monks) Seaver. He was educated in the Plymouth School system and entered the US Army following his high school education. Mr. Seaver worked as a plumber/pipe fitter for the Pipe Fitters Union Local # 51 for most of his life. He was a lifelong Plymouth resident and enjoyed wintering for the past 15 years in Boynton Beach, FL. He was a past member of the Cold Spring Club and American Legion Post #40 in Plymouth as well as the Hilltop Club in Kingston, MA. Mr. Seaver leaves his wife of 60 years, Louise, of Plymouth and was the loving father of Alan Seaver Jr., Walter M. Seaver and Linda Lott all of Plymouth. He was the cherished grandfather of six, and great-grandfather of nine. He was pre-deceased by his brother John Seaver, and sisters June Martin and Gloria Figlioli. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. at St. Peters Church in Plymouth.
