I had the pleasure of knowing Mr Coyle by being his personal CT tech! I looked forward to seeing him and told him to be sure to come on my day at work. He was always so pleasant and always had a good story. He was one of my favorites and I will miss having him brighten my day. With my deepest sympathy.... Gina, DFCI CT dept

Sgt. Coyle,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and secondly for the citizens of Scitiuate when you served with the SPD. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Sarah & Ted, The Coyle Family is a major part of my childhood and Al was a major influence; we would be sure to behave knowing that Mr. Coyle might be on duty not because he would tell our parents but we would have felt as though we disappointed him. He was caring, kind, and a very special man. He would welcome us to your home while he sat in the breezeway. In recent years, although I knew my way around the hospital if he saw me walk in, he'd be sure to "show me the way" by walking with me just so we could talk! He will be missed!

I am so sorry to hear of Al's passing. He worked with my dad at the police dept. for many years, and as a small child have memories of him. He was a very nice man. When my dad passed, he was missing parts of his uniform, that he was buried in, and Al went out of his way to make sure it was complete. That meant so much to us. He took care of a few things for us, and for that I am forever grateful. My thoughts are with the family.

Dear Teddy, Sarah and Sandra:
Our most special neighbors and friends on Gilson Road so many years ago, our heartfelt sympathies and prayers to you all. My dear Dad and Al were just the best of friends from Weymouth and of course Scituate. Dad too is now with God, just recently, but I know he would salute your Dad with a smile. The days on Third Cliff they spent together with our dogs Slade and Tippy were special to them both. My Mother "Dunna", my Dad "Joe" and I send our love and prayers to your entire family and to Mrs. Priscilla Coyle and her family. And so on behalf of my Mother and Father we send you our Love from your Gilson Road Friends. Dunna Oliva, Joe Oliva and daughter Donna Greco.
