Carol Bragdon Obituary

Carol A. Bragdon, of Carver, passed away Sept. 8, 2012. She was 68 years old. Loving and devoted wife of 51 years to Elmer Bragdon. Daughter of the late Albert and Mary Schneider. Cherished mother of Michael Bragdon of Korea Harbor, ME, Kenny Bragdon and his wife Lisa of Carver, David Bragdon of Carver, and Barbara Lagerquist of Carver. Sister of Barbara Cannon of NC. Carol is also survived by six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews; and cousins. Carol was preceded in death by her granddaughter Faithe Bragdon; and great-grandaughter Madisyn Zamprogne. Carol was a graduate of Plymouth High School, class of 1961. She worked for Haliday Lithograph, Royal Drywall, and Attorney Michael Mehrmann as a legal secretary. Carol loved to travel, read, and spend time with her family. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12 from 4-7 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Rte. 58), Carver. A funeral service will be held Thursday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Carver. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA 02360. To offer condolences or for directions, visit www.shepherdfuneralhome.com.
