Obituary Condolences

Carol A. (Pace) Colburn, of Braintree, passed away Jan. 4, 2013, at the age of 72. Born in Boston, Carol grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. Carol was a member of the Josepheens at St. Joseph Church in Holbrook for many years. She will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. She was the beloved wife of David A. Colburn of Braintree and the late Lloyd D. Tibbetts Jr.; loving mother of Susan (Tibbetts) Ciriello and her husband Charles of Braintree, Karen Tibbetts of Braintree, Lloyd Tibbetts, III and his wife Terri of Braintree, Mary Tibbetts of Braintree, Christine (Colburn) Hoadley and her husband Michael of Hanover and Lori-ann (Colburn) Robinson and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania; daughter of the late Alice and William Pace; devoted sister of Joseph Pace of Abington and the late Henry Pace, Kay-Kay Flannery, Alice Graziano, William Pace and Mary Zumac. Also survived by 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph, until 9 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Clare Church, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 5-9 p.m. Burial in the Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
