Charles J. Casna III, of Weymouth, went home to be with the Lord Dec. 7, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 67. Charles was a longtime resident of Quincy before moving to Weymouth 11 years ago. In his early years he worked as a barber at various locations. His skillful nature also led to many construction jobs and time spent working at Home Depot. He was a devoted family man who loved his family and cherished his nieces and nephews, always playing an active role in each of their lives. He will be sadly missed. Beloved son of the late Charles J. Casna Jr. and Joan (Bertolami) Casna. Loving brother of Susan Pennio and her husband John and Barbara Spink and her husband Donald, all of Weymouth. Cherished uncle of John, Nicole and Mark Pennio, Matthew, Jessica and Lauren Spink. Also survived by many cousins and dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.) Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 a.m. on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 a.m. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
