Chester J. Flattery Obituary
Chester Chet Joseph Flattery, age 53, of Plymouth, died suddenly on, Monday, July 7, in Plymouth. He was the devoted husband of Linda M. (Paone) Flattery. Chet was the devoted father of John Flattery, and Colleen Flattery, both of Plymouth. He is also survived by his brother Stephen and his wife Deb of Foxboro, Michael and his wife Kirsten of Norwalk CT, and Scott Flattery of Pembroke, as well as his nieces and nephews. Born on May 20, 1961 in Brockton, son of the late Chester and Miriam (Dolan) Flattery. He worked as the Head Custodian of Manomet Elementary School for the Plymouth Public School System, and also as a longtime cabinet maker for Capri Kitchens; and Kochman, Reidt and Haigh. Chet was a member of Knights of Columbus (Inside Guard), The Defenders Alumni Drum Corps, former member of the Boston Crusaders Drum Corps., St. Kevins Drum Corps, and the North Star Drum Corps. He was also a parishioner of St. Peters Parish in Plymouth, and was an avid sports fan. A visitation will be held at the Cartmell Funeral Home, 150 Court St., Plymouth on Sunday from 4 till 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following day at St. Peters Church in Plymouth at 10 a.m. Cremation will follow.
