Constance A. (Pearson) Johnson, age 90, formerly of Brockton and Quincy, died peacefully Thursday, September 12, 2013, at the Royal Braintree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Warren, Pa., raised and educated in Quincy. Constance was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1940. She had lived in Braintree for the past year, previously in Brockton for forty-nine years. Constance worked as an administrative assistant for the former Employers Liability Company of Boston for seventeen years and had been retired for many years. She was a lifelong active member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Quincy where she enjoyed teaching Sunday school for many years. Constance enjoyed baking and was an avid gardener. She was devoted to her family. Beloved wife of the late Arthur L. Johnson, she was the devoted mother of Laura M. MacFeeley and her husband William of Fitchburg; loving grandmother of Sheilagh Ruth MacFeeley of Boston. Constance was the last of seven siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at the Faith Lutheran Church, 201 Granite Street, Quincy, Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 10 Oclock. Reverend Heidi Johnston, Pastor, will officiate. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Tuesday 4-7 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery.
