David J. Butler of Brockton passed away Jan. 9, 2013, at the age of 52. He was the beloved son of Marilyn E. (Dean) Butler of Weymouth and the late James F. Butler; devoted brother of James D. Butler and his wife Carol of Mashpee, Marlene A. McNamee of Brockton, Paul F. Butler of Bridgewater, Stephen J. Butler and his wife Sheila of Sharon, Thomas E. Butler and his wife Debra of Manchester, N.H., Mary T. Butler of Weymouth, Richard J. Butler and his wife Julia of Walpole, and John V. Butler and his wife Tricia of Sandy Hook, Conn. Also survived many nieces and nephews. David was born in Boston and had lived in Brockton for over 20 years. He was a longtime employee of Polymer Design Co., of Rockland. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
