Elizabeth A. Beth (Saluti) OBrien, age 54, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully at home, Saturday, March 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School in Braintree, Class of 1976. Beth was a devoted mother and homemaker and she was well known for her Italian cooking. She had also worked part time for ten years at the CVS pharmacy on Independence Avenue in Quincy. She was fondly referred to by family members as the Honorary Mayor of South Quincy for the many friends and acquaintances she had made over the years. Beloved wife for thirty years of Joseph M. OBrien. Devoted mother of Kelly Ann Dolan and her husband Jay of Naples, Florida, Kathleen Ellen Kopf and her husband Jacob of Arlington, Virginia and Daniel J. OBrien of Quincy. Cherished daughter of the late Alfred L. and Eleanor (DiSciullo) Saluti. Dear sister of Alfred Fred Saluti of Weymouth, Gerald Saluti of New Jersey, Susan McAuliffe of Kingston, and Dennis Saluti of Osterville. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Thursday, March 7th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint John the Baptist Church, 44 School Street, Quincy at 10 oclock.
