Ethel (Johnson) (Fisher) Ogren, age 92, passed away at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Sunday, April 13, 2014. She was the wife of the late Ernest N. Fisher and Herbert F. Ogren. She is survived by her 2 children, Robert Fisher of Weymouth and Sandra Ward of Hingham; and her grandchildren, Steven Ward of Taunton, Deborah Ward Schlager of Quincy, Christine Ward of Abington and William Fisher of Weymouth. Ethel also leaves 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Fred H. and Alma C. Johnson, and was the last of 9 children; the most recently deceased were Walter Johnson and Edward Johnson. Ethel was born in Braintree, grew up in Weymouth and lived in Holbrook for 20 years before moving back to Weymouth. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Quincy. A funeral service will be held at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Square), S. Weymouth, Thursday, April 17, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Old North Cemetery in Weymouth.
