Frank Valzania, 96, of Plymouth passed away Jan. 1, 2012, at Jordan Hospital after a brief illness. His last days were spent surrounded by family. Frank was the husband of the late Evelyn White Valzania; the father of Paul and his wife Barbara of Plymouth, Joan and her husband Bill Allen of Millis, Rick and his wife Linda of Plymouth and Judy and her husband Michael Roy of Plymouth; the brother of Josephine Ablondi of Shrewsbury. He is survived by 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Frank was born in Greenland, N.H., moving to Boston as a young child. Frank graduated from Boston Trade High School. He owned and operated Hanover Sales in Boston before becoming a manufacturers representative under the company name of Duo Associates. After his retirement, he could be found helping out his son-in-law at South Plymouth Hardware. He was a summer resident of Priscilla Beach since the 1940s moving there year round in 1983. He was a founding member and past president of the Priscilla Beach Association. Frank enjoyed spending time with family and at the beach. He loved blueberries and never missed a year picking them. Visiting hours will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road (Rte. 3A), Plymouth (Manomet), Friday, Jan. 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Parish Saturday, Jan. 5, at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Manomet Cemetery.
