Genevieve A. (DeRosa) White of Quincy died Friday, May 9, at home. She was 77 years old and the beloved wife of the late Thomas A. White. Born in Quincy, Nov. 23, 1936, she was the loving daughter of the late Giovanni and Concetta (Gaudiano) DeRosa. Mrs. White was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School and worked as an administrative executive secretary at Quincy City Hospital for over 20 years. She was an avid traveler and enjoyed the opera. Mrs. White was the dear sister of Ursula Svizzero of Quincy and Anthony DeRosa and his wife Elizabeth of N. Easton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Funeral from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin Street, Quincy, Wednesday, May 14, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church, 95 Crescent Street, Quincy, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
