Irene B. (Ellis) Dwyer, 89, of Hingham, formerly of Weymouth, passed away July 1, 2013. Born Oct. 21, 1923, in Somersworth, N.H., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Alice (Hebert) Ellis. Irene was formerly employed by Dr. Edward Howley in Weymouth as a secretary. Irene was the wife of the late Philip J. Dwyer Jr.; loving mother of Donald Dwyer and his wife Kathy of Norwell, Joseph Dwyer and his wife Tina of Hanover, twin daughters Marlene MacNeil and her husband Leo of Norwell, Maureen Griffin and her husband Richard of Newton, and the late Philip Dwyer III; cherished grandmother of 13, which includes David and Kevin Dwyer, both of Ontario, Canada; as well as five great-grandchildren.
