Jay Jerahian, of Quincy, formerly of Belmont, Aug. 31, 2013. After fighting a long and courageous battle against cancer, Jay died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of 17 years to Lisa (Falco) Jerahian and devoted father of Leah, Bianca, Gabriela and Jenna. Jay received his degree from Bentley College, and worked as the Director of Finance at the Unclaimed Property Division of the State Treasurers Office. He was a great friend to countless people. His passions were his Armenian heritage, playing basketball, vacationing in Florida and spending summers on Old Silver Beach with family and friends. Loving son of Miriam and the late Gabriel Sonny Jerahian and brother of Sharon McElroy and her husband Brian. Nephew of Deanne and Walter Nahabedian. His extended family Lucy and the late Tony Falco, Tim and Tina Cahill, Giuliana Falco, Anthony and Suzanne Falco. Loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Funeral service at Saint James Armenian Church, 465 Mount Auburn Street, Watertown on Thursday, Sept. 5 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours at Saint James Armenian Church, Watertown on Wednesday Sept. 4 from 4 | 8. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Saint James Armenian Church.
