In 1991, Jack received the Labor Guild's Cushing-Gavin Management Award for excellence in labor-management relations. Labor leaders alerted us to his passing with affection and respect for a great man and an honorable Employer of integrity, decency and faith.
Jack was a true friend to the Guild and to the two Jesuits, Fr. Mort Gavin and Fr. Ed Boyle, who served for 46 years as Guild Chaplains.
Sending sincere condolences and blessings to the Shaughnessy Family from our Labor Guild family.
