John T. Jack Dunlea, Jr., age 56, died unexpectedly at home, Saturday, March 30, 2013. He was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and was a lifelong Quincy resident. Jack was a mechanic in the auto body industry and had worked at Thomas Auto Body in Hingham for thirty years. He especially enjoyed restoring his vintage 1964 Cadillac Eldorado. He loved sports and was an avid reader of poetry, history and world wars. Devoted father of John T. Dunlea III of Falmouth, Seanna K. Tobin and her husband Kevin of Quincy. Loving grandfather of Kevin. Special friend and mother of their children, Christine Crosson of Falmouth. Beloved son of Lorrine A. (DiBona) Dunlea of Quincy and the late John T. Dunlea. Dear brother of Michael K. Dunlea and his wife Maria of Weymouth, James R. Dunlea of Bellingham and Lisa M. Dunlea of Milton.Uncle of Michael K. Dunlea, Jr. and Elizabeth Ryan and granduncle of Giana Ryan. He is survived by his aunt, Susan LeHage of Plymouth and his cousins, Leslie, Rachael and David. Loving companion of Renee LaPlume of Weymouth. Memorial Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, April 6th at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
