Joseph D. Red Kingsbury, of Quincy, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Aug. 15, 2013. He was a member of the Roxbury Old Timers. A proud U.S. Army veteran. He and his wife recently celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary. Joe will be remembered by all those who knew him as a funny, hardworking, one of a kind guy and for his devotion to family and love of his home. He lived a rich and full life. Beloved husband of Regina (Swain) Kingsbury of Quincy. Loving father of Joseph of Chatham, Jed, Julie Anne, and David; all of Quincy, and the late Suzanne. Gah-Gee to Joseph, Justin, Brendan, Kyle, Cameron, Chloe, and the late Jasmine. Brother of Donald of Chelsea, Edward of Quincy, Paul of NJ, Thomas of Dorchester, Elizabeth Vogelsang of Plymouth, Linda Conti of Northborough, Jane Logan of Quincy, Daniel of Weymouth, and the late Carol, John, James, Richard, William and Robert. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4 - 8 p.m. in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., Quincy. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Wednesday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Anns Church, Quincy at 10 a.m. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
