She graduated from St. Gregory grammar and high school in Dorchester. A brilliant student, Mrs. Lawlor won scholarships to thirteen colleges. Following graduation, Mrs. Lawlor traveled across Europe as a prize winner of the annual Rose of Tralee beauty contest sponsored by Sabena Airways. Mrs. Lawlor was a longtime member of the St. Agatha Choir. She was also a judge of the annual Lincoln Essay Contest at the Forbes House in Milton, MA. Mrs. Lawlor had been one of the original winners of the contest as a grammar school student at St. Gregory School. Mrs. Lawlor is survived by her husband Dr. John F.
