Kevin A. Davieau, 49, of Rockland passed away suddenly on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Kevin was born in Boston on July 1, 1964 and was raised in Somerville and Abington. He was a 1982 graduate of Abington and served in the Air Force from 1984 to 1987. He was employed as a Letter Carrier in Abington and delivered for Papa Gino's in South Weymouth. Kevin was a member of "Tops" Take off Pounds Sensibly. After working to lose over 100 pounds, he spoke all over at the organization's many events and was most proud to be the 2012 Massachusetts State King, speaking in front of 40, 000 people in Canada. Kevin recently celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary with his loving wife, Karen (Dwyer) Davieau. He is survived by his wife, his children Heather DiTrolio and her husband Matthew of Hollis N.H., Kevin Davieau Jr. and Courtney Davieau both of Rockland, his parents Arthur and Evelyn (Farnell) Davieau of Abington, as well as his two grandchildren, Alexander and Amalia DiTrolio. He was the brother of Paul Davieau of Rockland and Lisa Morgado and her husband Paul of Abington and he was the grandson of the late Eleanor Farnell. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home 45 East Water St. in Rockland on Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 9 a.m. in St. Bridget Church, 455 Plymouth St., Rte 58 in Abington. Interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Rockland. Donations in Kevin's memory may be made to ALS Massachusetts Chapter, 315 Norwood Park St., 1st Floor, Norwood, MA 02062.
