Lorna B. (Caron) McCaughey, of Rockland died on her 77th birthday, Jan. 23, 2014, at St. Josephs Manor in Brockton. She was born in Montreal, Canada, daughter of the late John and Regina (Beaudin) Caron, and was raised and educated there. Lorna came to the United States in 1957 settling in Boston and later moved to Rockland in 1965. She was a dog breeder and groomer for 35 years, raising AKC Champion Poodles. Mrs. McCaughey was a member of the Poodle Club of Massachusetts. Wife of the late Michael F. McCaughey, she is survived by her children, Rhonda H. Kreitman of Abington, Karen L. Zelvis of Rockland, Toni R. Eisenbaum of N.Y., Scott M. McCaughey of East Bridgewater and Brad L. McCaughey of Rockland. Also surviving is her sister, Joanne Gosling of Canada; and 10 grandchildren. The family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate her life at the Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland, Monday, Jan. 27, 2014, from 5-8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, 403 Union St., Rockland, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.
