Lt. Francis Frank OLoughlin Jr. (MBTA Police) of South Weymouth passed away Nov. 20, 2012 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Frank was a Lieutenant for the MBTA Police for 30 years and retired in 1999. Among his years with the MBTA he was head of the Motor Cycle Division; the Department Armorer and also the Dept. Fire Arms Instructor. He was also a recipient of the Hanna Award and other commendations. Frank was an avid shooter and marksman. He was a member of the Braintree Rifle and Pistol Club and a Life Endowment member of the NRA. Beloved husband of Lt. Detective Nancy (Bratton) OLoughlin (MBTA Police). Devoted father of Paul OLoughlin of Brockton, Shawn OLoughlin and his wife Dawn of Braintree, Caitlin OLoughlin of South Weymouth, Casey OLoughlin of South Weymouth, Christopher Wheeler of Brockton and Diane Cook of South Carolina. Brother of Terry OLoughlin of Brockton, Margaret OLoughlin of Brockton, Diane Hadley of NH and the late John OLoughlin and Michael OLoughlin. Loving grandfather of Fred, Michael, Krystal, Heather, Cassie, Kelli and Robert. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service in the McDonald Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends invited.
