Lucy A. Case

Lucy Ann Wright Case, of Duxbury, formerly of Westwood, passed away September 12, 2010. She was 79 years old. Devoted and beloved wife of Peter T. Case, retired Westwood High School teacher; cherished mother of Robert S.W. Case of Plymouth, the late Peter T. Case Jr., the late Stephen T. Case, Elizabeth A. MacFarlane and husband Michael W. of Kingston, John B. Case and wife Jenny of Riverview FL, and Jennifer A. Case-Pouliot and partner Suzanne Case-Pouliot of Kingston. Mrs. Case is survived by her adoring grandchildren, Kellianne E.W. MacFarlane, Jason Case, Paul Case, Erica Gambarini, and the late Michael W. MacFarlane Jr., along with great grandchildren Isabella, Paul Jr., Jason Jr., Lorelei, and Samara. Mrs. Case, a graduate of Endicott College class of 1952, was an avid tennis player, golfer, pianist, and animal lover. She was actively involved in many committees and leagues at the Duxbury Yacht Club along with numerous volunteer positions including the Standish Humane Society in Duxbury. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Saint Johns Episcopal Church, Duxbury. A private burial will be held at the Westwood Cemetery, in Westwood.
