M. Eileen Tinney

Quincy M. Eileen Tinney, age 58, of Quincy, died Tuesday August 12, 2008 at her home in Quincy. Eileen was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools. She graduated from Quincy High School, Class of 1968 and from Quincy City Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1971. She was a lifelong Quincy resident. She was employed as a Registered Nurse. She worked for over thirty-five years at the former Quincy City Hospital and the Quincy Medical Center. Beloved mother of Yasmina Maria Tinney of Quincy. Devoted daughter of Josephine M. (McDermott) Tinney and the late Joseph Tinney. Loving sister of Joseph Tinney of Walpole, Patricia A. Tinney of Braintree, Daniel Tinney of Quincy, Edward Tinney and his wife Andrea of Quincy, and Jo-Ann Tinney of Quincy. Aunt of William, Cristina, and Amee. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Saturday, August 16th at 9:15 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Johns Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 10:00 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Interment Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
