Marie I. (Galvin) Miller, 86, of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury. The daughter of the late John and Pearl (Zetter) Galvin, she was born in Boston, June 18, 1926. She was raised and educated in Dorchester and was later employed as a waitress and home health aide. Wife of the late Gordon McGee and Wallace Miller, she was the mother of Marie Flynn of Pembroke, James McGee of Falmouth, Kathleen Gale of Rockland and the late Gloria Jean McGee and Carol McGee. She was the sister of Jeanne McLaren of California, Bernice Yerra of Marlboro, Jacqueline Avakian of California and Helen Blood of Tennessee. Also survived by 14 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 2 Maquan St., at the corner of Rte. 14 and 58, in Hanson, Thursday from 4-7 p.m., followed by a service at 7 p.m. Interment at a later date.
