Marjorie A. (Nye) Coon of North Weymouth passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at the Colonial Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Weymouth. She was 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Frederic M. Coon, she was the devoted mother of David A. Coon of North Weymouth and Deborah A. Coon of Braintree; proud grandmother of Erin Grover married to Robert of North Weymouth. Born, raised and educated in Braintree, Marjorie had lived in Weymouth for most of her adult life. She worked in earlier years at the Weymouth Savings Bank, Weymouth Landing, and she enjoyed activities at the Whipple Center with the Weymouth Seniors. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the McDonald Funeral Home, at 40 Sea St. (off Rte. 3A at Bicknell Square), North Weymouth, Sunday evening 3-7 p.m. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home Monday at 10 a.m. to be followed by burial in the Old North Cemetery, Weymouth Heights.
