Obituary Condolences

Mary A. (Lacerenzo) Boyne, age 94, a lifelong resident of Quincy, died peacefully, Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation in Braintree. Mary was born, raised, and educated in Quincy. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, Class of 1937. Mary was employed as a production worker for the Armstrong Cork Company in Braintree for over thirty years and had been retired for many years. She enjoyed gardening and knitting. Mary was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Charles E. Boyne, she was the devoted mother of Charles A. Boyne and his wife Kathryn of Braintree, Calvin S. Boyne of Quincy, Sandra M. Ferguson of Braintree, and Michael C. Boyne and his wife Susan of Daytona, Florida; loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; sister of Julia Hart of Abington, and the late Celia Gerrior, Violet A. Aniolowski, Norman M. Lacerenzo, John J. Lacerenzo, and Paul P. Lacerenzo. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At the request of the family, funeral services were private. Interment took place at Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy. Arrangements were under the direction of the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, One Independence Avenue, Quincy.
