Mary B. Chisholm, age 95, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully, Tuesday, February 18, 2014 in Quincy. Mary was born, raised and educated in Quincy. She was a graduate of Saint Johns Elementary School and Quincy High School, Class of 1935. She was also a graduate of Bridgewater Teachers College, Class of 1939. Mary was a kindergarten teacher with the Quincy Public School Department for thirty-one years, having retired in 1973. She spent most of her career at the Wollaston Elementary School and later served as a media specialist with the Quincy School Department for several years. Mary was a longtime member of Saint John the Baptist Parish in Quincy where she served as a Eucharist Minister. After moving to 1000 Southern Artery, Mary attended Saint Josephs Church for fifteen years. She was a member of the Quincy Retired Teachers Association and the Wollaston Garden Club, as well as the former Quincy Catholic Club and the former St. Johns Ladies Sodality. Beloved daughter of the late Daniel J. and Sarah A. (MacIntyre) Chisholm. Devoted sister of the late Anna E. Chisholm and Gertrude J. Chisholm. Mary is survived by Dorothy and Nick Nasson of Braintree, Susan and Stephen Nasson and their family of Wrentham and Laurence Nasson of Quincy. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Josephs Church, 556 Washington St., Quincy on Friday, Feb. 21 at 11 oclock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment at Saint Marys Cemetery in Randolph will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marys memory may be made to Catholic Television, P.O.
