Mary P. (Frisoli) McClelland, age 89, of Quincy, died peacefully, Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cambridge, raised and educated in Cambridge and South Boston schools and was a graduate of South Boston High School. She has lived in Quincy for over sixty years. Mary was a homemaker but had worked several years for the Federal Civil Service Board and for the Visiting Nurses of Boston. She enjoyed knitting and reading. Mary was devoted to her family, especially to her fifteen grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. McClelland. Devoted mother of Mary E. Orlando and her husband John of Quincy, Robert W. McClelland Jr. and his wife Kim of Scituate, Anne M. Stromberg and her husband Edward of Weymouth, Barbara J. Stewart and her husband Alan of Braintree, Joseph R. McClelland and his wife Nora of Braintree. Loving grandmother of fifteen grandchildren. She was predeceased by her seven brothers and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Thursday, Nov. 8, at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, corner of Sea and Darrow Streets, Quincy at 10 oclock.
