Myron F. Litchfield Obituary
Myron Floyd Litchfield, a life long resident of Scituate, passed away peacefully, embraced by his family on April 24, 2014, at the age of 87. Myron was the loving husband of Beverly A. Litchfield (Newcomb), father of Marcia (Wilson) of Dunstable, David of Pembroke, and Jeffrey of Duncan, S.C. Two grandsons Derek and Sean, great-granddaughter Mikayla. He served in the Marine Corps in China during WWII from 1945-46. He attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and built his own home for Beverly. He applied his woodworking skills at Hagerty and Sons furniture in Cohasset. Myron was a foreman at D. S. Kennedy and R. F. Systems in Cohasset building radar dish antennas. A founding member of the South Shore Antique Auto Club. A Past Master Mason of the Satuit Lodge. A Member of the Mass. Striper Club, Beach Buggy Assn., Mass. Audubon, Manomet Bird Observatory, and So. Shore Bird Club. A funeral service will be held in the Richardson-Gaffey Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
