Noel A. Tooher, of Osterville, formerly of Scituate, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at the age of 58, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Stamford, CT to the late John and Marianne Tooher. Devoted father of Niles Tooher and his wife, Kelly, of Swampscott, and Griffin Tooher of Scituate. Brother of Mary Beth Kilduff of Bedford, Jonathan Tooher of GA and David Tooher of VA. Former husband of Elly Kern of Scituate. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends whose lives he touched. As a graduate of The University of Utah with a B.S. in Chemistry, he spent his career focused on the advancement of water based coating development and manufacturing. He was a true scientist. He was an active member of his communities as a Boy Scout leader, Sunday School teacher and always an advocate for his familys dreams. He loved music, reading, traveling, camping, and being with his family. Noel is a visionary in both life and its philosophies. He is an inspiration to all for his optimism and fortitude. His strength, devotion and passion will live on in all those he loved.
