Priscilla E. Traves., 82, died on July 7, 2014 at her home in Rockland. She was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late John and Ruth(Garrity) Smith. Priscilla was raised and educated in Somerville graduating from Somerville High School. Mrs.Traves was a former employee of Carter Ink in Cambridge. She later went on to work as a Travel Agent for Walpole Travel agency, and Plaza Travel Agency. Priscilla was an avid Patriots fan. She also enjoyed reading, old movies, the ocean, and especially her family. Priscilla was the Wife of the late Edward J. Traves. Mother of, Linda T. McCarthy of Hanover, and Edward Traves and his wife Fang Fang of Braintree. Grandmother of Patrick McCarthy of Hanover, Connor McCarthy of Hanover, Brian Traves of Braintree, Myra Traves of Braintree, and the late Traves McCarthy. Also survived by her niece Patricia Welin of NH, and cousin of Robert Maguire of Andover. The Traves family welcomes friends and loved ones to celebrate Priscillas life on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 5-8p.m. in the Magoun- Biggins Funeral Home, 135 Union St., Rockland. A Funeral Home Service will held on Saturday July 12, 2014 at 10:00a.m. Donations may be made to Father Bills Place 38 Broad St. Quincy MA 02169. Burial will follow at a later date.
