Richard Rich Donlon of Randolph, formerly of Watertown, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 7, 2013, at the age of 47. Beloved husband of Barbara (Passetto) Donlon, he was the loving father of Brandon M. and Joshua E. Donlon, both of Randolph; son of the late Edward and Mary E. (Hughes) Donlon; devoted brother of Margaret Donlon of Arlington. Also survived by his other parents, Sonia and Jim Reeves of Watertown. Mr. Donlon was born in Boston and grew up in Watertown where he graduated from Watertown High School and attended Bunker Hill Community College for accounting. He worked for over 12 years for Arbour Hospital, Jamaica Plain, in accounting and purchasing. He had lived Randolph for over 18 years and was a former member of the Conservation Commission and the friends of the Blue Hills. He will be fondly remembered by the children of the neighborhood for his paternal nature, and the countless adventures he took them on. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St. (Rte. 28), Randolph.
