Mr. Lints,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice our Country when you served with the USN in the Pacific fighting the Japanese during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family andloved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

We were so lucky to have Rip as an uncle. My childhood memories are of a big, smiling, funny, teddy-bear of a man who always made me laugh! We will miss him.

Laurie and Diane: Obviously we'll see you in the next two days and speak more directly. But for the record I think your father was my mother's closest brother. He was ever a welcome visitor to the Cape and would always cheer her regardless of the circumstances. He was always the most fun uncle in whatever venue,on a pond or at a family celebration. He took the time to smell the roses, plant the tomatoes, enjoy a meal, and a drink,or two, hook the fish, and just to relax with friends and family. His memory will be for a blessing.

Uncle Rip was always a favorite at the McDermott household. A great guy, he was always so nice to us. He will be sorely missed.

Laurie, Diane and the entire Lints Family,
The passing of Bob(RIP) is a sad and somber time for you as well as his many Friends. The great times I was fortunate to spend with him I will forever cherish. A truly wonderful Man and Friend . I will miss him deeply!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I'll always have wonderful thoughts of you and the laughs we've had over the many years I've known you in Alfredo's.
