Robert E. Keenan, of Hartland, Vt, passed away peacefully at home on June 12. He was 70 years old. Bob worked for many years for Timberpeg Homes of Claremont, NH. He also was an electrical contractor in the Vermont and New Hampshire area. Bob was born in Boston, Ma and raised in Hull, Ma. Bob and his wife Joan of 43 years, enjoyed wintering in Arcadia, Fla., where Bob was a member of the Moose Lodge. Beloved husband of Joan (Harding) Keenan from Whitman, Ma. Loving father of Kathleen Keenan of Poquoson, Va., Brin Keenan of Hartland, Vt., Riley Keenan and Robert Keenan Jr. of New Jersey. Brother of Leo W. Keenan Jr. of Squantum, Ma, Arthur W. Keenan and James M. Keenan of Weymouth, Ma. Sisters, Sandra Finch and Jacqueline Minelli. Also survived by his grandchildren Savanna, Dillion and Andrew, and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service to be at Damon Hall, Hartland, Vt., June 24 from 1 - 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Hartland Vt. Volunteer Fire Dept.
