Rose Lamborghini, age 88, formerly of Hingham, passed away Dec. 31, 2013. Born and raised in Providence, R.I., Rose graduated from Rhode Island College with a degree in Education. Passionate and committed to everything she did, Rose excelled as a teacher, mother, homemaker and sales person. Her indomitable spirit and zest for life kept her young and fit well into her eighties. Rose had a myriad of interests and activities. She was an absolute gourmet cook, played the guitar and sang, traveled extensively and loved the beach. Rose was a loyal Boston sports fan, a fashion expert, an outspoken advocate for women's equality and a huge fan of Pavarotti. Rose loved to discuss politics. She was a staunch democrat and often expressed concern that her children might grow up to become republicans. She was the loving mother of Jack Lamborghini and his wife Linda, Lori Pappalardo and her husband Mark, Nita Lamborghini and her Partner Carol Lamb and Janice Cyr and her husband Bob; cherished grandmother of Stephen, Alia, Nicholas, Joseph, Steven, Leah, Katie, Michael, Christopher; and great-grandmother of Jayson and Harry. Rose was a devoted daughter to her deceased parents Rocco and Grace Donatelli. She was a loving sister to her deceased brother Henry Donatelli, her deceased sister Elisa Falciglia and her husband Ernest, her deceased sister Rita Iacono and her husband Pat, and her sister Edith Jarett and her husband Lewis. She also cherished her relationships with her nieces,nephews and many friends. In lieu of flowers, Rose would appreciate donations made to the in honor and memory of her brother Henry Donatelli. Visiting hours are Sunday, Jan. 5, from 3-6 p.m. at the MacDonald Keohane Funeral Home, 809 Main St., Rte. 18, Weymouth.
