Vincent L. Tangherlini, age 77, formerly of Braintree, died unexpectedly, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. He was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Quincy schools and has lived in Weymouth for ten years, previously in Braintree for most of his life. Vincent was a mechanic in the tire industry for many years. He had worked for the Hancock TV and Appliance Company and Firestone Tire Company, both in Quincy and has been retired many years. He enjoyed walking. Beloved father of the late Cynthia Tangherlini. Devoted son of the late Armando and Doris (Johnson) Tangherlini. One of eleven siblings, he is survived by Armando Tangherlini and his wife Darla of Weymouth, Dorothy Tangherlini of Weymouth, William Tangherlini and his wife Bonnie of Abington, Candice Marchant of Weymouth and predeceased by Jean Eccles, June Harris, Paul, James, Richard and Joseph Tangherlini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Tuesday, April 9th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
