Virginia "V" Polvere of Quincy died peacefully Nov. 24. Her family was everything to her and she did everything for them. She was an amazing cook and Sunday dinners with her whole family were her specialty. Her meatballs, and lasagna have never been duplicated. Virginia was the cherished wife of 70 years to the late Damiano "T" Polvere who predeceased her by three days; beloved mother of Virginia Simmons of Madison, N.H., Daniel Polvere (QFD) of Duxbury and the late Thomas Polvere of Braintree and Michael Polvere of Quincy; loving mother-in-law of Richard Simmons of Madison, N.H., Jayne Polvere of Duxbury, Theresa Polvere of Braintree and Helen Polvere of Quincy; sister-in-law of Olga A. Desario of Norwood. Virginia is also survived by nine beautiful grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. At the familys request at this very difficult time, services will be private.
