Robert L. Baker, of Quincy, passed away on October 3, 2011 at the age of 78 years. He was a lifelong resident of Quincy, a graduate of North Quincy High School Class of 1952. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Baker worked for over 35 years with Raytheon. He and his wife loved to Square Dance and Round Dance. Mr. Baker is survived by his beloved wife of over 55 years, Cynthia A. (Carpenter). Loving father of Ronald W. Baker and his wife Donna of Quincy, Mark Bander of Turners Falls and the late Richard Baker. Devoted grandfather of Steven Baker, Jason Baker and his wife Libby, Michael Baker, William Bander and Jon Bander. Great-grandfather of Christopher Baker. Also survived by many nieces. A Funeral Service will be held in the Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock Street, (Wollaston) on Friday, October 7 at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. Interment in Pine Hill Cemetery Quincy.
