Barbara Ann (Duggan) Marotta, of Marion, formerly of Randolph, passed away Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at the age of 84. Born in Quincy, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (OHare) Duggan. Barbara was a loan officer and treasurer of Randolph Credit Union. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Marotta Sr.; loving mother of Gary and his wife Nancy, Michael and his wife Lynda, George, James and his wife Anne, Joseph and his late wife Elizabeth, Barbara, Karen, Regina and Maria Marotta, Catherine Earley, Theresa Mollins and her husband Robert , and Sally Buchanan and her husband David; loving grandmother of Nicholas, Samuel, Jacob, Michael, Nicole, Samantha, John, Victoria, and Christina Marotta, Robert and Michael Mollins, Jack Gerstein, Nicholas, Alex and Olivia Radcliffe. Also survived by her sisters Jane Foulsham, Carole Duggan and Joan Morris; her sister-in-law, Mary Marotto; and many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street, Rte. 28, Randolph, until 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Bernadette Church, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
