Paul C. Carloni, age 58, formerly of Braintree, died peacefully Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Brockton VA Medical Center. He was born in Quincy, raised and educated in Braintree and was a graduate of Braintree High School, Class of 1975. He had lived in Quincy for the past three years, previously in Braintree for most of his life. After high school, Paul served in the U.S. Navy. Later, he was employed for twenty-nine years with the U.S. Postal Service and was assigned to the South Boston Postal Annex and recently retired. Beloved son of the late Achille G. and Elizabeth A. (Does) Carloni. Devoted brother of David G. Carloni and his wife Bette of Clifton Park, N.Y., Peter J. Carloni and his wife Karen of Braintree. Loving uncle of Michael, Alicia, Danielle, Jenna, Joseph and David. Cherished grand-uncle of Nathan. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Ave., Quincy, Tuesday, February 18th at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
