Richard A. McKinnon Obituary
Richard A. Dickie McKinnon, lifelong resident of Quincy passed away May 9, 2014 at the age of 53. Loving father of Melissa A. and Mallory C. McKinnon both of Quincy. Husband of Marie A. (Casey) McKinnon of Quincy. Beloved son of John and Marjorie (House) McKinnon of Quincy. Devoted brother of James W. McKinnon and his wife Donna of Pembroke and Thomas J. McKinnon and his wife Frances of Milton. Dear uncle of Brett, Morgan, Frank and his wife Mandy, Johnny , Jessica, Brianna, Ryan and the late Marc Susi. Also survived by his great niece Sonya, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Dickie was a graduate of Quincy Vocational Technical High School and had been a member of Pipefitters Union Local #537 for over 30 years. Dickies passions were his daughters, reading, being on the water, long drives listening to music, enjoying time with his friends at the Torre Dei Passeri Social Club and cooking for his family and friends. A funeral service will be held Wednesday in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree, MA at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Marc A. Susi Scholarship Fund, c/o Morgan & Morgan, 175 Derby St #40, Hingham, MA 02043.
