Anne T. Cannon Obituary
Anne T. (Fitzgerald) Cannon, of West Quincy, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 at age 84. A lifelong resident of Quincy, she was a retired secretary for the Quincy school system, a longtime communicant of St. Mary's Church, a member of St. Mary's and St. John's Senior Groups and enjoyed traveling, playing cards and was an avid walker. Her favorite times were going out to dinner with her family and cooking them full course Sunday dinners. The beloved wife of the late Robert T. Cannon Sr., Anne was the loving mother of Robert T. Cannon, Jr. of Kingston, Kathleen A. Cannon of Marshfield and Patricia M. Cannon of Braintree; dear grandmother of Dianne Marie Cannon Hallock of Walpole and Michael Robert Cannon of Tewksbury and beloved sister of John J. Fitzgerald Jr. of Dedham. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, May 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dennis Sweeney Funeral Home, 74 Elm St., Quincy Center. Family and friends are invited. On Friday there will be a gathering at the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 115 Crescent St., W. Quincy. Burial is at St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
