Joseph A. Doyle, died peacefully, Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Harbor House Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hingham, surrounded by his loving family. Joseph was born in Natick and has lived in Quincy for most of his life. He was a custodian with the Quincy Public School Department for twenty-two years with most of his career at the Lincoln Hancock School. Joseph was an avid Boston sports fan and enjoyed travelling and trips to New Hampshire. He was a hardworking man and was devoted to his family, especially to his six grandchildren and great-grandson. Beloved husband for fifty-seven years of Patricia J. (Lawton) Doyle. Devoted father of Joseph A. Doyle and his wife Cheryl of Sandwich, Steven P. Doyle of Whitman, Daniel J. Doyle of Quincy and Kevin M. Doyle and his wife Lisa of Weymouth. Loving grandfather of six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Dear brother of James Doyle of Duxbury, Patricia Doyle of Marshfield, Suzanne Gaines of Weymouth, Lawrence LaForce of Rockland and Michael LaForce of Hull. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy, Wednesday, July 30th at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in Saint Josephs Church, 550 Washington Street, Quincy at 10 oclock.
