Eleanor C. (Henshon) Leahy of Norwell, formerly a resident at Duxbury Village, previously a longtime Hingham resident, died August 14, 2014. She was 102. The beloved wife of the late David D. Leahy, Esq., she was the mother of David D. Leahy Jr. of Marshfield, Martha Morrill of Richmond, Va., Lawrence P. Leahy of Amesbury, John P. Leahy of Boston and Mark A. Leahy, Esq. of Hanover; aunt of Carol Niekracz of Bonita, Calif., Leonard Surett of Santa Ynes, Calif., Thomas Henshon of Wiburham and David Henshon of Brighton. Eleanor is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. An avid reader, Eleanor also enjoyed playing Bridge. She attended Boston University and was a member of the Hingham Garden Club.
