Jean Scally, 75, of Pembroke, passed away Saturday, August 23, 2014. Daughter of the late James and Annie (Brown) Preston, she was born in Glasgow, Scotland, September 24, 1938. Jean married her husband Allan in 1958, and they moved from Scotland to the United States in 1963. Jean worked for many years as a waitress for what was once the Casa Berrini of Marshfield and after retiring from waitressing, Jean entered into the health service field as a home health aide for many years. Both jobs, she loved with a passion. Jean was the beloved wife of Allan Scally; and was the loving mom of Allan James Scally and Sean Scally of Plymouth. She was the sister of Vera McNally and her husband John of England and Ann Munro and her husband Colin of Scotland. Jean is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Colin and Carter Scally; as well as her Auntie Jean and Uncle Billy Peebles of Pembroke. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 551 Washington Street, Hanover, Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home.
