Loretta "Florence" (Flanagan) Hall of Sun City Center, Fla., and Eastham, died at home surrounded by her family August 23. Wife of the late Merrill "Brad" Hall for 65 years, she is survived by her children, Janis and John Hansen of Braintree, Nancy and Barry Ratner of Naples, Fla., Glenn and Denise Hall of Braintree and Jeffrey and Patti Hall of Abington. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Julie Morgan, Beth Senesi, Brian Ratner, Justin Hall, Michael Hall, Stephanie Hall and Kevin Hall; along with two great-grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Noemi Flanagan of New Orleans, La. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew in New Orleans. Florence spent most of her life raising her family in Braintree, where she worked at Kennedy's Dept. Store. She and Brad enjoyed travelling and took many cruises throughout the world. She was a longtime member of the Neighborhood Club of Quincy and a member of the Braintree Womens Club. After retiring to Florida and Cape Cod, she enjoyed reading, old movies, bridge and the occasional round of golf. Burial will be private in the Forestdale Cemetery of Malden and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
