Obituary Condolences

Mildred C. (Curro) Maligno of Quincy died Sunday, Dec. 12 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. She was 95. Mrs. Maligno was the loving wife of the late Carmelo C. Maligno. Born in Winchester on Jan. 10, 1915, Mrs. Maligno was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Pugliesi) Curro. She was raised and educated in Weymouth and was a member of the St. Johns Senior Citizens Group. Mrs. Maligno was a homemaker and is lovingly remembered by her family for her quick wit and how much she loved spending time with her family. She was the loving mother of Charles Maligno and his wife Donna of Whitman; grandmother of Christopher Maligno, Jeffrey Maligno and his wife Dawn and Dina Maligno and the great-grandmother of Alexis. Mrs. Maligno was predeceased by five siblings and was the sister-in-law of Anna Alongi of Quincy and the late Mary DAmbrosa, Millie Ciappetti, Charles Maligno and Michael Maligno. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Her funeral will be from the Bolea-Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 116 Franklin St., Quincy on Wednesday, Dec. 15 at 9 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Johns Church, 44 School St., Quincy at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Tuesday 4-8 p.m. Interment in Mount Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
